Children and Adolescents

Founded on the philosophy that “there is no single solution, only a commitment to find one,” New Jersey MENTOR has been supporting children and families for two decades.  In the last 15 years, New Jersey MENTOR has helped thousands of children – some with very serious conditions - while continuing to add more programs tailored to the unique and intense needs of children and adolescents within the social service system.

Every child has different needs based on their own unique situation.  New Jersey MENTOR has people and programs that can support children with a full range of needs – from those coming from intensive residential settings transitioning into the community, to children with complex emotional and behavioral problems who are disconnected from their biological families, to those who are ready to reunify with their families or become adopted by another family.  With the welfare of the child as our central concern, New Jersey MENTOR strives to contribute to our clients' therapeutic growth while helping them achieve permanency and stability in their lives.
