We’re Hiring
Across New Jersey, human services professionals and state officials are working hard to bring home residents who had been receiving out-of-state care. In addition, the state is beginning to close it’s developmental centers where thousands of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities currently live. In response to the urgent need for community-based services, New Jersey MENTOR is preparing dozens of new Community Living Residences—also known as group homes—to support people of all abilities as they move into the communities of their choice.
Expanding Community Living Options
We are excited to welcome many individuals who are returning home or moving out of the state’s developmental centers into our Community Living Residences. But to do so, we need to hire hundreds of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with New Jersey MENTOR you can make a difference in the lives of these individuals and you own!
Become a Direct Support Professional
As a DSP, you’ll be a special person to the individuals you support. You’ll help people adjust to their new surroundings and help them live life to the fullest through ongoing care and support. In addition to being a rewarding job, working as a DSP is one of the best places to start your career with our company—and in the human services field. In fact, New Jersey MENTOR’s Executive Director began her career as a DSP.
Whether you have previous experience as a DSP or you’re looking for the opportunity to earn a competitive salary and do meaningful work—we want to hear from you!
